**Quick answer: Should I buy an Apple gift card with crypto or buy the device directly?**

Buy an Apple gift card with crypto only if you live in the US. As of 30 October 2026, Bitrefill's Apple USA card works only with US Apple accounts and stores. Apple also ships only to US addresses. Outside the US, or above $1,000 a month without ID, buying directly from **MSRP Crypto** at Apple's US price works.

## How does the Apple gift card route work?

1. **Buy the card with crypto** — On Bitrefill, choose the Apple Gift Card USA. Each card holds $10 to $500, with up to 10 cards per order. Pay in BTC, Lightning, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC or another listed coin.
2. **Stay within the limits** — Without a Bitrefill account, you can spend $500 a day and $1,000 a month. A verified account, with ID, proof of address and a selfie, raises this to $10,000 a day.
3. **Use the card at apple.com** — Apple's US store lets you combine payment methods, such as a gift card and a card. Bitrefill says the card works for iPhones, MacBooks and iPads.
4. **Ship to a US address** — Apple's US online store ships only to addresses in the US. It also sells only to end-user customers.

## How much can you spend without ID?

Less than one iPhone 18 Pro a month. **According to MSRP Crypto's catalog check on 30 October 2026, 26 of our 44 Apple products cost more than $1,000 before sales tax.** That is above Bitrefill's monthly limit without an account. Each of those devices needs a verified Bitrefill account, with ID, or cards bought across two or more months.

## When is the gift card route the better choice?

When you live in the US, have a US Apple account and spend less than $1,000 a month. You then pay with crypto, keep Apple's own checkout, and can still get the $30 carrier discount on the iPhone 17. A US gift card can also fund your Apple Account balance for apps and subscriptions, which we do not sell.

If you live in the US and can pay by card, a card is simpler still. Apple charges the same US list price that we do.

## When is buying direct from MSRP Crypto the better choice?

When you live outside the US, or want to spend more than the no-ID limits allow. MSRP Crypto sells new, factory-sealed Apple, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo products at the manufacturer's US list price (MSRP), paid in crypto, with free worldwide shipping and import duties included. We are an independent store, not affiliated with Apple, Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

You pay in crypto with no gift card step. Send the exact amount shown at checkout to the address shown, on the right network. We check the payment on the blockchain, then order your device and email the tracking number. We ask only for an email and a shipping address.

Two honest limits apply. First, Apple may limit iPhone and iPad warranty service to the country of original sale, the US. Mac warranty service depends on the options in the country where you ask. Second, the US iPhone 17, 17e and 18 Pro are eSIM-only, so your carrier must support eSIM. See [does a US iPhone work abroad?](https://msrpcrypto.com/does-a-us-iphone-work-abroad/)

## Can you buy an Apple gift card with BitPay, Coinsbee or CoinGate?

Not with BitPay: in February 2024, BitPay said it does not support buying Apple gift cards with crypto. Coinsbee sells iTunes cards, with up to €1,000 per order without verification. CoinGate also lists Apple gift cards. Bitrefill's US card works only in the US, so check the country of any card before you buy.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I buy an Apple gift card with crypto?

Yes. Bitrefill sells the Apple Gift Card USA for crypto, from $10 to $500 per card. Coinsbee and CoinGate also sell Apple or iTunes cards, but BitPay does not.

### Can I use a US Apple gift card outside the US?

No. Bitrefill says its Apple USA card works only with Apple accounts and Apple Stores in the US. Apple's US online store also ships only to US addresses.

### Is there a limit on Apple gift cards bought with crypto?

Yes. Without an account, Bitrefill allows $500 a day and $1,000 a month. A verified account raises the limits to $2,000 per card, $10,000 a day and $50,000 a month.

### Is the price the same with a gift card?

Yes. A gift card pays Apple's normal US price, plus US sales tax. MSRP Crypto charges the same US list price, with shipping and import duties included.

### Which is better for a buyer outside the US?

Buying the device directly. The US gift card does not work with a non-US Apple account, and Apple's US store does not ship abroad. MSRP Crypto ships to every country except 9 excluded ones.
