Will the US DualSense Wireless Controller work in my country?
Yes for games: Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft do not lock their current console games by region. Sony said in its PS5 FAQ of 9 November 2020 that PS5 games are not region locked. Nintendo says "Nintendo Switch 2 game cards are not region locked". Microsoft confirmed at the 2020 launch that Xbox Series X|S games have no region lock.
Online stores follow your account, not the console. The PlayStation Store and PSN gift cards follow the region of your PSN account. The Nintendo eShop follows the country of your Nintendo Account, and eShop cards work only in the country they were sold for. Details: Are PS5 and Switch 2 region locked?
Is the warranty for the DualSense Wireless Controller valid outside the US?
Not for the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo's regional FAQ says "the limited warranty is applicable only within the country/region where the console was intended to be sold". For our consoles, that country is the US. Sony and Microsoft products come with the manufacturer's warranty; defects go to the manufacturer, not to us.
We sell US models only. Nintendo also sells a cheaper Switch 2 in Japan that supports Japanese only and needs a Japanese Nintendo Account. That is not the model we sell.
