In short

Can I buy an iPhone with Bitcoin?

Yes. MSRP Crypto sells every current iPhone for Bitcoin at Apple's US list price. As of 30 October 2026, the iPhone 17e starts at $699 and the iPhone 18 Pro at $1,199. Apple itself does not accept Bitcoin. You pay on-chain in BTC; shipping is free worldwide, import duties are included and no ID is needed.

Who sells iPhones for Bitcoin at Apple's price?

MSRP Crypto sells new, factory-sealed Apple, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo products at the manufacturer's US list price (MSRP), paid in crypto, with free worldwide shipping and import duties included.

The store is run by ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA). It is an independent store, not affiliated with Apple, Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo. Each iPhone costs the price shown on Apple's US store on 30 October 2026, with no markup and no crypto fee. Every product page links to the Apple page we checked, so you can compare the two prices yourself.

We sell the unlocked iPhone. For the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 16, Apple charges $30 less only when a US carrier activates the phone at purchase. Our price is Apple's unlocked price, so it is $30 above that carrier offer.

iPhones you can pay for in Bitcoin

Why can't I pay Apple directly in Bitcoin?

Because Apple does not list crypto as a payment method. Apple's support page for US Apple Account payments lists the account balance, Apple Card, Apple Cash, Apple Pay, most credit and debit cards, and PayPal. Bitcoin is not on that list. BitPay, a crypto payment company, also writes that Apple does not accept direct crypto payments.

The usual workarounds have limits:

  • An Apple gift card bought with Bitcoin. Bitrefill sells US Apple gift cards for BTC. They work only with US Apple accounts and US Apple Stores.
  • Delivery from the Apple Store. Apple ships online orders from its US store only to addresses in the US.
  • A crypto debit card in Apple Pay. The card company sells your crypto for dollars, and it checks your ID first.

How does a Bitcoin payment work at checkout?

You pay on the main Bitcoin network (on-chain). Lightning is not offered at checkout. The process takes a few minutes:

  • Add the iPhone to your cart. The total is the USD price, with shipping and duties shown as included.
  • Enter an email and a shipping address. There is no account and no ID check.
  • Choose BTC. The checkout converts the USD total at the current BTC spot rate and holds that BTC amount for 30 minutes.
  • Send the exact amount shown at checkout to the address shown. Your wallet adds the network fee on top.

We match your payment by its exact amount and check it on the blockchain. Then we order your device and email the tracking number once it ships. The whole process is on How it works.

Is Bitcoin the best coin for an iPhone?

Bitcoin works well, but its price moves. If you already hold a stablecoin, paying with it removes the exchange rate step.

Will a US iPhone work in my country?

Yes, if your carrier supports eSIM. Apple's specs say the US iPhone 17, 17e, 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are not compatible with physical SIM cards. Apple's purchase page says unlocked iPhones work with any carrier that provides service for iPhone. Check that your carrier offers eSIM before you pay. The details are on Does a US iPhone work abroad?.

Warranty is the second point to check. Apple's US iPhone warranty says Apple may restrict service to the country where the device was first sold. Read Is Apple warranty valid worldwide? before you buy.

When is Apple a better choice than MSRP Crypto?

When you live in the US and can pay by card. Apple's price is the same as ours, and Apple sells the iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 $30 less with a US carrier. You also get Apple's own return process and in-country warranty service.

MSRP Crypto is the better fit in two cases. You want to pay in Bitcoin without a crypto card or an ID check. Or you live outside the US and want the US price with shipping and duties included.

Questions about buying an iPhone with Bitcoin

Do you accept Bitcoin Lightning?

No. Checkout lists Bitcoin on the main Bitcoin network only. Send a normal on-chain transaction to the BTC address shown at checkout.

What if the Bitcoin price moves while I pay?

The checkout fixes the BTC amount for 30 minutes. Send that exact amount within that time. If the timer runs out before you send, start the checkout again to get a new amount.

Is the iPhone new and sealed?

New and factory-sealed, with the manufacturer's warranty. You can return it within 14 days if the factory seal is intact. The refund is paid in USDT or USDC, not in BTC.

Do I pay customs duties on the iPhone?

No. Import duties and VAT are included (DDP): the price you pay is the full price; nothing is collected at delivery. We do not ship to Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, Syria, Yemen, mainland China and Western Sahara.

Do I need to show ID to buy an iPhone with Bitcoin?

No. No ID, no selfie, no account: only an email for order updates and a shipping address for the courier. Many other crypto routes ask for ID: BitPay above $3,000 and Bitrefill's verified account, for example.
