Where can I buy electronics with crypto?
The main ways to buy electronics with crypto are Newegg via BitPay, Bitrefill or Coinsbee gift cards, crypto debit cards, crypto-only stores and MSRP Crypto. As of 30 October 2026, only 1 of 14 major retailers takes crypto at checkout. Outside the US, US gift cards do not help: Apple and Best Buy ship only within the US.

Which retailers accept crypto directly?
Only Newegg, among the major retailers we checked. According to MSRP Crypto's check of 14 major retailers on 30 October 2026, only Newegg (via BitPay) accepts crypto at checkout. Ten do not. Three could not be confirmed: B&H Photo, Microsoft/Xbox Store and Overstock/Beyond.
The 10 that do not are Apple, Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Costco, Micro Center, Samsung.com, the PlayStation Store and the Nintendo eShop. For Target and Costco, only secondary sources were available. Microsoft and Overstock accepted Bitcoin in the past. See does Newegg accept Bitcoin? for Newegg's rules.
Which option is best for a buyer in the US?
It depends on how you want to pay. If you can pay by card, the official stores charge the same US list price that we do. Apple also takes $30 off the iPhone 17 with a US carrier. If you want to spend crypto:
- Newegg with BitPay works for items in stock below $3,000, if you accept ID for refunds.
- A Bitrefill Apple gift card works for purchases up to $1,000 a month without an account.
- MSRP Crypto charges the US list price with no ID and no account, and takes pre-orders.
A crypto debit card works wherever cards work, but the issuer checks your ID.
Which option is best outside the US?
For a buyer outside the US, most indirect routes stop working. Bitrefill says its Apple USA gift card works only with US Apple accounts and stores. Apple's US online store ships only to US addresses, and Best Buy asks international customers to use a US address or store. PSN and eShop gift cards are locked to a region.
Newegg lists 19 countries for BitPay, including the UK, Australia, India and the UAE. MSRP Crypto ships to every country except 9 excluded ones, with import duties and VAT included.
One warranty point applies to US devices. Apple may limit iPhone and iPad warranty service to the country of original sale, the US. Mac warranty service depends on the options in the country where you ask.
How do you check a crypto electronics store before you pay?
Look for facts you can verify, not promises. Our check of crypto-only stores on 30 October 2026 found:
- Mac for Crypto publishes no company name or address and uses a Telegram contact. It shows the iPhone 17 (256 GB) at $699; Apple's unlocked price is $929.
- AppleBitcoin names MUSHAA LTD (company no. 14839619, England and Wales). Its only Trustpilot review, dated 12 September 2026, alleges an unconfirmed payment.
- Crypto Emporium has a Trustpilot score of 2.6/5 on 99 reviews. Recent reviews allege non-delivery.
- AWBStore (applewithbtc.com) redirected to an unrelated website.
Reviews are customer allegations that we did not verify. Before you pay, check five things. Look for a named company, a written return policy, a warranty explanation, tracking, and a price you can compare with the official store. Read is it safe to buy electronics with crypto?
