iPhone questions
Are your iPhones unlocked?
Yes. Every iPhone we sell is the unlocked US model, at Apple's unlocked price. It works with any carrier that provides service for iPhone and supports eSIM.
Why does Apple show a lower price for the iPhone 17?
Apple's "from" price for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 needs activation with a US carrier at purchase. Without it, Apple charges $30 more, and that is the price we use. The phone you get is unlocked.
Can I put my SIM card in a US iPhone?
No. The US iPhone 17, 17e, 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are not compatible with physical SIM cards. The iPhone Duo is eSIM-only in every country. Ask your carrier to move your number to an eSIM.
Is the Apple warranty valid in my country?
It can be limited. Apple's iPhone warranty lets Apple restrict service to the country of first sale, which is the US for our phones. Defects go to Apple; our 14-day return covers sealed products only.
Do I pay customs duties on an iPhone?
No. Import duties and VAT are included (DDP) for every country we ship to. The price at checkout is the full price.
